Tamer Institute for Community Education is a non-profit community educational organization . Tamer Institute works across the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip mainly with children, youth and groups that work with them such as caregivers, librarians, teachers, artists, among others, providing safe and inclusive learning environments that support literary and scholarly production on child culture in Palestine.  Tamer’s programs aim to contribute to enhancing reading, writing and all forms of expression on national and international levels. The Institute’s vision is “towards a Free and Safe Palestinian Learning Society” while its mission is to “Encourage and deepen the culture of learning among children, young adults and groups which work with them”.

Tamer Institute is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as the Media and Digital Publishing Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

• Develop, create, and edit engaging multimedia content for various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and electronic publications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with the TAMER identity and messaging.
• Electronic Publishing:

• Manage the production and distribution of electronic publications, such as social media contents, website, e-books, and newsletters.
• Ensure a seamless and visually appealing layout for electronic publications, incorporating multimedia elements when appropriate.
• Social Media Management:

• Oversee the Tamer’s social media accounts and website, creating and curating content that engages and grows our audience.
• Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content strategy.
• Submit a quarterly report on social media and website developments to the relevant team.
• Draft a quarterly Media and Digital publishing plan.
• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the Knowledge and Literary Production team, and The Community Education Programs Team to coordinate multimedia content and publishing efforts.
• Communicate effectively with external partners, artists and vendors involved in electronic publishing and media production.
• Quality Assurance:

• Conduct quality checks on all published content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
• Archiving all material related to the Media and Digital Publishing tasks.
